On August 30, 2001 Linden Ave in Kearny, NJ hosted two locations
used in Season 3. This house was used to film the scenes in Episode
29 "Fortunate Son" where Christopher finally gets bumped
up to the "big boys" table. I hung around till well
after midnight and it certainly was worth the wait! Once the
filming was done most of the cast members emerged from their
trailers to sign autographs and take photos with the local residents. To

Jackie Aprile Jr's heist at the box office of a "Jewel"
concert was allegedly taking place at Rutgers University. This
scene was shot at the student center at Bergen Community College

In "Pine Barrens" (Episode 37) Christopher and
Paulie have their infamous run-in with their Russian buddy. Tony
later visits his Russian buddy to "transfer some cannoli's."
The lavish restaurant his Russian compadre calls his office was
actually the Richfield Regency banquet facility in Verona, NJ.
This location is just down the road from Oggi, the restaurant
when we saw Uncle Junior sing his operatic melody. <Oggi has
since been sold and under new management.> |
